The tragic history of American and Canadian Native American assimilation policies are being played out recently, as news of hundreds of unmarked graves of Canadian First Nation’s children have been recovered. In the US, 10 sets of human remains from Carlisle Indian Boarding school in Pennsylvania were identified and repatriated to their families. Read more here:
