JRI will be offering a two-day training course on the National Historic Preservation Act and related legislation, May 11-12, 2021 via Zoom. Emphasis is on the history of historic preservation legislation, the major provisions of NHPA including Sections 106 and Section 110, the 106 process, National Register of Historic Places criteria and eligibility, stakeholder roles and potential conflicts. The course is designed for CRM professionals and interested non-professionals and meets the New Mexico Historic Preservation Divisions continuing education credits requirements, as long as you haven’t taken the class already. The fee is 175.00 per attendee., 150.00 for students  and JRI members. Registration  and payment deadlines are May 7th. No one will be admitted to the training without payment.
