Tularosa Basin Historical Society Meeting lecture

David Greenwald will be presenting on the status of recent investigations at Creekside Village to the Tularosa Basin Historical Society on March 3rd in Alamogordo at 6:00 pm in the First National Bank Atrium (414 10th Street). Greenwald will discuss the extent of the current investigations, recent discoveries at the site, address future research directions and provide interpretations that are supported through various field and analytical data. He will also discuss the role of great kivas at sites such as Creekside Village, address the discovery and implications of the great kiva within the context of the Tularosa Basin and adjacent areas, and offer a variety of insights into the function of Creekside Village at the regional level. This is a great opportunity to acquaint yourselves with both the Tularosa Basin Historical Society and Jornada Research Institute.
