JRI will be offering a two-day training course on the National Historic Preservation Act and related legislation, October 22-23, at the Bureau of Reclamation Area Office, in Albuquerque. Emphasis is on the history of historic preservation legislation, the major provisions of NHPA including Sections 106 and Section 110, the 106 process, National Register of Historic Places criteria and eligibility, stakeholder roles and potential conflicts. The course is designed for CRM professionals and interested non-professionals and meets the New Mexico Historic Preservation Divisions continuing education credits requirements.
