JRI President David Greenwald be giving a presentation at the Historical Society of New Mexico annual meeting which will be in Alamogorda between April 19 and 21, discussing the current status of work at Creekside Village and in Tularosa Canyon. The focus is on early village organization and subsistence strategies, but he will also discuss the interaction that we now believe occurred between Creekside Village and the Twin Kiva Site, located about 1.5miles up the canyon. Our efforts keep shedding new light on the complexities of Creekside Village and the greater historic landscape of Tularosa Canyon. David plans to lead a tour of Creekside on April 22 as a follow up to his presentation. The conference will be held at NMSU in Alamogordo.
